The Frog Pile is a huge 55’ 2001 Buddy Harris Custom Carolina Sport Fishing Boat.  This Fishing Boat boasts a 55’ LOA and a 16 ½ foot beam. The huge fishing cock pit is nearly 200 square feet with a fighting chair. It is spacious enough for your entire party to have lots of fish fighting room.  This is the largest and fastest charter boat in the fleet, cruising at 28 knots -- spend more time on the fish and not in transit.  With a state of the art technology fish-finder and GPS North Star, we put you on the fish over and over.  For your safety, we have added a USCG certified life boat and new radar systems. Our newly constructed salon has a wonderful mahogany finish with lots of sitting room, a new 16,000 BTU air conditioning unit, bar, fresh water sink, refrigerator, and microwave. Enjoy the ride and relax with music or video on the CD/ DVD and VCR players in our new entertainment center.  Fish and listen to your favorite music on the newly installed stereo system. The aft cock pit fish box holds 750lbs and duel high side boxes hold 300lbs each, so lots of room to keep your catch fresh and cold.  This boat has it all in the fishing gear department:  Twin electric Deep Drop Pro bandit rigs to fish the bottom at depths greater than 1000 feet – perfect when you want to go for the big ones, Penn Internationals ranging from 130s, twin and single 80s, 50s, 30s, and salt water Penn spinning rigs. The cock pit or the bridge deck is open and large for you to fly fish if you wish. 

The Primary Captain for the Frog Pile is Captain Joshua Anderson who has a United States Coast Guard Captain's license and has been on the Frog Pile for 5 years. Josh has been fishing the Virginia Beach, Ocean City Maryland, and North Carolina off and near shore waters most of his life. He is an accomplished fisherman, with tons of fishing experience, specializing in catching those big knotty-headed sea bass, tautogs, tilefish, mahi-mahi, and mostly the big tunas. You name it, Josh has caught lots of it! He has a vast knowledge of our in and offshore waters, and handles the Frog Pile with expertise. Boat owner Lew Hicks is a Retired Navy Seal, and holds a 100 ton United States Coast Guard Captains License and a Virginia Commercial Registration (fishing) License. He has fished all over the world. His fishing experience demands the need for a successful fishing outing, hence, he has put together a fishing staff and gear package that will make your fishing dreams come true.
