THE BOAT

The Frog Pile is a magnificent 55’ 2001 Buddy Harris Custom Carolina Sportfishing Boat.  It is a 55’ LOA and has a 16 ½ foot beam along with a 200 square foot fishing cockpit complete with three fighting chairs. It is spacious enough for your entire party to have lots of fish fighting room.  This is one of the largest and fastest charter boats in the Rudee Inlet fleet, cruising at 28 knots - so you spend more time on the fish and not in transit.  With state-of-the-art technology, fishfinders and GPS North Star, we put you on the fish over and over again.  For your safety, we have added a USCG certified life  boat and new radar systems. Our recently renovated salon has a wonderful mahogany finish with lots of sitting room, new 16,000 BTU air conditioning unit, bar, refrigerator and microwave. Enjoy the ride and relax with music or video on the CD/DVD and VCR players in the new entertainment center.  Fish and listen to your favorite music on the new stereo system. The aft cockpit fish box holds 750 pounds and duel high-side boxes hold 300 pounds each, so lots of room to keep your catch fresh and cold.  We also use top-of-the-line fishing grear: Penn International 80’s, 50’s, 30’s, and Penn spinning reels. We also have Shimano tld 30’s and tld 25’s, Jigging rods and reels. The cockpit or the bridge deck are open and large enough for you to fly fish, if you wish.
